knew I had the honor of being invited to participate in the First Discussion Local "Aymara Language and Culture - Quechua" which was organized by the Peruvian Academy of Language Aymara (APLA) during 16 and April 17, 2010 in the city of Puno. Known personalities in this field, including teachers, journalists and Aymara leaders were present to present, each with their own experience-about the progress that is taking the Andean culture in the process of reclaiming and strengthening.
is important to reflect on the path we are following which we pride ourselves on being part of the Aymara-Quechua culture, it is important to think and have opportunities for exchange of ideas, as it was this discussion group. However, more importantly I think, that after decades of discussion, let us once and for achievement and show real progress.

The APLA Discussion of the idea was clear.
